The Spirit Festival arrives, the ghost gate is open.
Mid-July, Yin energy emerge, do not go out at midnight.
On the day of the Spirit Festival, the streets are filled with ghosts. Under the cold stars and moon, there are cat evils using tricks from the ghost world to take advantage of the day when yin and yang meet on human world.
This game is my entry for Global Game Jam.I had a lot of fun with my new friends.

Brainstorming
Nekoshou is a 2D Platform Metroidvania pc game,
Players play the role of a Taoist priest who vanquish demons and monsters in the game. During the whole game, players need to eliminate the ghosts that plague the world and find the truth hidden under the surface.
Summary
Puzzle structure
Make puzzles based on two maps of Yin and Yang.
A structure that cannot pass through the underworld can only be advanced by switching from the surfaceworld.
This also includes the height difference caused by the yin-yang switching mechanism for making jumping platform.
Mission/Challenge Structure
Inferring based on conversations with NPCs, it is up to the player to decide whose words to believe, and lead to different attribute adjustments in battle. (Option 1 attack +5%, option 2 defense +5%)
