This week, my teammates and I met in person for a discussion. After our conversation, I organized the requirements and set the date for our next meeting.
I'm so glad that the entire process was enjoyable.
We discussed many things together, proposed requirements, and assigned roles. Lucy suggested that anyone interested in trying other tasks is always welcome, which is great.
I mean it's great to be part of a team where roles can be switched, allowing everyone to learn from each other.
I also created a simple diagram explaining the effects. I did feel that the previous table was a bit hard to understand.
I also gave some thought about game UI.
I currently have two ideas: one is to place it in the top right corner, where it can be enlarged upon clicking. The other option is to position it directly above the entire game screen.
The design philosophy for both UIs is as follows
1. Allow players to see the planet's damage status in real-time.
2. Avoid obstructing too much screen space.
If it could be displayed after the mouse moves over it, with the default being hidden, that would be even better.
However, the game UI will evolve with our discussions and game design, so these ideas are just temporary for now.
