1.Big map iteration

As shown in the picture, at the beginning we actually had multiple players draw their own maps to determine the entire big map. The size of gold and green hive was completely based on the players' drawings, making the map more changeable.

I think this is very interesting, but it is not convenient for players to get started quickly and understand the concepts of the game better and faster.


Summary: More strategic, more difficult to get started, and more prone to unpredictable situations (making the game longer)

So we iterated to such a large area.

In this way, it can be directly divided into large hexagonal areas, and the large areas are gold and green respectively.

This makes it easier to determine, and only requires the player to collage the terrain instead of painting it themselves.


This is how it is in reality:



For a tabletop game, it would be a waste of materials every time you draw it, but if it is changed to a state where it can be collaged,

it can be used repeatedly.












2.Victory conditions iteration

Next is the iteration of the victory conditions. We found that ten rounds did not even allow the game to enter the stage of fierce competition.

Perhaps - occupying an area and giving players an [advantage] will make the game more meaningful.

After a period of testing, we chose to change the victory condition is to take one gold or two green hive.
