Connected games 03-Visual Design
Visual Design
We have considered some elements of visual design.
The visual design is primarily inspired by simplicity, with colors aimed at creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We also aim to incorporate some natural ambiance.
Since the game's setting is confirmed to be in the medieval era, we also want to incorporate some medieval vibes. Initially, I considered a more 2D-style woodcut aesthetic. However, since it's ultimately a 3D game, this idea was quickly replaced.
In the direction of simplicity, we are leaning towards a low-polygon style.
Color
Monet's delicate use of color and his frequent depictions of the French countryside are indeed sources of inspiration. The overall tranquil and relaxing natural atmosphere is exactly what we're aiming for.
I've perused many of Monet's paintings and feel that the colors in this piece best capture the relaxed and dreamy atmosphere I envision.
